The Isle of Man Festival of Motoring is a unique motoring event that brings together car enthusiasts from across the British Isles and beyond. Over several days, participants and visitors can enjoy a varied programme of driving experiences, vehicle displays and social events, all set against the spectacular backdrop of the Isle of Man’s famous roads and scenery.

About the Festival

First introduced in 2021, the Festival of Motoring was created to celebrate the enjoyment of driving and the wide variety of vehicles that make up today’s motoring community. The event welcomes everything from classic and vintage cars to modern sports and performance vehicles, creating a diverse and exciting gathering for enthusiasts. Throughout the festival, participants take part in a programme of organised activities that showcase the best driving routes on the Island. These often include scenic drives across the countryside, special runs on iconic roads such as the Sloc Road, memorable laps of the world-famous TT Mountain Course as part of a supervised motorcade and a closed road run on the world famous TT mountain section.

Public displays are also an important part of the event. Vehicles are showcased at locations around the Island, allowing visitors and residents to see an impressive collection of cars up close and meet the owners who have travelled to take part. The festival also includes visits to local motoring attractions, track experiences and social gatherings where participants can relax and share their passion for cars. From scenic tours to special events and evening functions, the Festival of Motoring offers a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone involved.

Whether you are joining the event with your own vehicle or simply coming along to see the cars on display, the Isle of Man Festival of Motoring provides a memorable way to experience the Island’s motoring culture and its world-renowned roads.

Where to see the cars, and when :-
