After the launch and incredible success of the Isle of Man MiniFest and Isle of Man FordFest, join us in 2027 for a unique Scenic Car Tours experience where Ford and MINI owners gather on the Isle of Man to celebrate two iconic brands of the motoring world. This relaxed driving orientated event focuses on owners passions for these two iconic brands whilst exploring the beautiful Isle of Man and enjoying some exclusively arranged elements throughout the weekend.

About the Event

The Mini vs Ford Weekend brings together owners and enthusiasts of two of Britain’s most iconic car brands for a relaxed and enjoyable motoring tour on the Isle of Man. Created as a celebration of the friendly rivalry between Mini and Ford, the event is not a race or timed competition, but simply a fun way to enjoy great driving roads, great cars and great company.

Throughout the weekend, participants take part in a programme of activities designed to make the most of the Island’s spectacular scenery. Scenic driving routes, group lunches and evening social events give everyone the chance to explore the Isle of Man while meeting fellow enthusiasts who share the same passion for these legendary marques.

The event welcomes all models of Mini and Ford, from classic and retro favourites to modern performance vehicles. Car displays, photo competitions and “Best in Show” awards add to the fun, creating a lively and friendly atmosphere for participants and spectators alike.

A range of accommodation options is available, from 2-star to 4-star hotels as well as camping, ensuring there is something to suit different preferences and budgets. The event is also family and pet friendly, making it easy for everyone to join the experience.

Scenic Car Tours takes care of all the travel arrangements, including ferry crossings and accommodation bookings, so participants can simply focus on enjoying the roads, the cars and the camaraderie of this unique Isle of Man driving weekend.

Thursday

Ferry crossing from Heysham, Liverpool or Larne (Northern Ireland) to Douglas.

Friday 
09:00 to 17:00 - Fun Run and Island introduction, including Sloc Road photo competition

12:00 to 14:00 - Event Display at Fenella Beach, Peel

Saturday 
11:00 to 14:00 - Cars & Coffee Isle of Man in Douglas, including Best in Show
19:00 to 22:30 - Pie in the Sky Quiz Night at the Victory Cafe*

09:00 to 12:00 - Mini vs Ford Car Display at the Isle of Man Motor Museum

12:30 to 14:00 - Lunch at the famous Creg-Ny-Baa

14:30 to 16:00 - TT Grandstand Photoshoot​
